About
Seven years of
getting the corners.
A father-and-daughter cleaning contractor in Ipoh — registered in 2019, known for floors and glass, and for the parts of a job nobody inspects.
Kean Can Cleaning Service is a father-and-daughter business in Ipoh, registered in 2019 and run by Chu Wai Kean with his daughter Chloey. It is a specialist contractor rather than a maid agency: the work is post-renovation, restoration, high-access and commercial cleaning. The company motto, we serve we clean, is the whole promise, and the photographs on this site are its own jobs.
Kean Can Cleaning Service was registered in Ipoh in 2019 and has been working across Perak ever since. It is run by Chu Wai Kean with his daughter Chloey — he runs the work on site, she runs the quotes, the scheduling and the follow-up. Between them that is the whole management layer, which is the honest reason enquiries get answered quickly and jobs do not get handed down a chain.
The company is a specialist cleaning contractor, and the distinction matters more than it sounds. A maid agency places someone to keep a home that is already clean in good order. This is the other job: the one that needs machinery, height access, chemicals chosen for a specific residue, and a crew working to a handover deadline. Most of the calls come after a renovation, after a tenancy, or from a business whose premises cannot simply close for a day.
What the team is known for
Two things, by the company's own account: detailed cleaning of tiles and floors, and glass and windows including high access. That is a narrower claim than most cleaning companies make, and it is narrower on purpose. Floor restoration and high-access glass are the two parts of this trade that need equipment and practice rather than effort, and they are the two that a general cleaner will usually decline.
The rest of the work follows from those: post-renovation cleaning, which is mostly a residue problem on floors and glass; commercial and facility contracts, where the same two skills are needed on a schedule; and vacant property, where nothing can be assessed until it has been cleared.
How the work is checked
Fine dust keeps falling for a day or two after the heavy work is done, so a post-renovation property is not finished on the day the visible mess disappears. The standing promise is move-in condition three to five days after handover, and the property is checked by the quality control team at the end of that window rather than signed off by whoever happened to be on site.
That check is deliberately not the owner's personal walk-through. A business that depends on one person seeing every job cannot hold a standard once it has more than one crew out, and this one regularly does.
Real jobs and customer feedback
The project photographs on this website come from Kean Can Cleaning Service's own photo collection. The examples show work across floors, windows and commercial premises, with before-and-after labels retained where they were supplied.
Customers can read feedback on the Kean Can Cleaning Service Facebook page. The project photographs on this website show examples of the team's cleaning work.
The standard
“They'll stay back to finish the job without charging extra overtime.”
A customer's own words. The work is finished when it is clean, not when the clock runs out — and the day-three check by the QC team is there to make that something the business can hold to rather than something it merely says.
